Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.About the job As the Vice President and General Manager for Ads Privacy and Safety (APaS) team, you will lead the organization responsible for ensuring Google Ads is the safest Ad Platform for billions of users, and millions of advertisers and publishers, all while ensuring exceptional privacy.In this role, you will help Google define the future of media, building an organization and product line to power us through the step-changes happening in the industry right now. With a keen focus on the areas that are impacting the direction of media today (e.g., spam, policy, privacy, etc.), you will work across every ad product and team to ensure safe, long-term growth for Google at a dynamic time where user safety and privacy is more important than ever. This means ensuring that each Google ad meets our policies, that every user interaction is authentic, and that every product prioritizes user privacy.Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.Responsibilities

Define the strategy and product roadmap for Ads Privacy and Safety (APaS), a vital part of the Ads organization, allowing room for constant innovation and agility.Serve as a strategic thought partner for the Ads organization and represent Ads’ interests with leaders across Google as it relates to Privacy, Regulatory, Spam, Abuse, and other important safety issues.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on a large range of challenges that might include designing massive scale systems handling millions of QPS, partnering with Chrome and RMI on novel ML techniques, and building brand new Google-wide infrastructure to answer complex graph queries.Manage, lead, and grow a global organization of engineers, product managers, and user experience designers with teams located in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, New York, and Waterloo.
