Please double check you have the right level of experience and qualifications by reading the full overview of this opportunity below.Hands-on role comprised of direct selling duties, sales team management and development, and multifaceted marketing duties for multiple entities and brands within a unique lifestyle hotel in Fort Collins.ResponsibilitiesMeets and exceeds property revenue goals through coaching sales team and developing new accounts.Achieves productivity and activity goals as established by management.Targets appointment-oriented sales calls and maximizes current hotel key accounts.Captures competitor's accounts through networking and research.Plans and implements an ongoing Targeted Account Development hit list.Continually targets and prospects for new business.Develops strong customer relations and follows up on customer needs promptly.Conducts research and surveys the marketplace for effective selling strategies.Focuses on revenue-producing activities and manages time efficiently.Controls expenses and maintains a professional appearance.Management & DevelopmentLeads direct reports to achieve property sales goals and holds them accountable.Maintains knowledge of the competition and hotel operations.Adjusts sales plan according to business trends and aggressively pursues market opportunities.Utilizes yield management techniques and budget creation skills.Exhibits a positive team attitude and represents the hotel with integrity.MarketingPlans and implements ecommerce and internet marketing strategies.Reviews and measures successfulness of digital marketing tactics.Coordinates with Sales, Operations, and Revenue Management on marketing efforts.Promotes the brand and the hotel in the market.Manages entertainment bookings and internal marketing materials.Oversees website maintenance and manages relationships with partners and agencies.Utilizes reporting to drive improved content and marketing initiatives.QualificationsEducation/Formal Training : Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.Experience : 4+ years of hotel sales management experience.Knowledge/Skills : Requires knowledge of sales techniques, yield management, and customer service skills.Physical DemandsMust have dexterity/mobility to meet clients, climb stairs, and operate office equipment.
