Your Opportunity: Taylor Communications, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking for a Graphics Specialist to join our team! Responsibilities Include: Supporting sales team with providing expertise in creation of product designs supporting all markets that are practical and effective for the application Using variety of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials Creating designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts Providing professional support through general functions including template creation, artwork correction, and template maintenance Communicating with customers to assess, develop, and meet objectives of design, project, or program and determine size/arrangement of illustrative material and copy Meeting or exceeding production and quality objectives for design activities and cycle times, assuring standards and targets are met or exceeded for Customer, Sales & Customer Service Actively participating in managing the work load, teaming up with industry professionals and partnering with complementary business areas to meet and exceed customer needs Providing technical expertise in the various design software applications, including but not limited to Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, & Microsoft Office Driving continuous cost and process improvements You Must Have: Strong communication skills (written, verbal, virtual) Proficiency with Adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Previous experience in the field or related area with proven artistic ability We Would Prefer: Degree in Graphics Communication or equivalent advanced degree in Graphic Design Experience in creating and designing sales & marketing tools and resources Highly developed technical skills in the document or business forms industry About Taylor Corporation One of the largest graphics communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
