We're looking for a design manager to lead the User Growth pillar at Figma, which includes the Acquisition, Activation, and Community areas.
We're hoping to find someone who's excited for both the strategic challenge of growth, but also isn't afraid to get in the weeds and push the bar for quality. You'll manage the teams responsible for growing and engaging our overall user base, but also our Community hub of resources (that contains files, templates, widgets, and plugins).
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.What you'll do at Figma:
Hire and manage a group of world-class designers of all experience levelsPartner with Product and Engineering leads in this area to improve team processes and execution and coach individual teams through setting roadmap and strategyDevelop a perspective on your teams' product areas and successfully advocate for it across the organizationRun and improve team processes like critiques and sprintsAdvance your own skills at people management in a supportive and growth-oriented environmentWe'd love to hear from you if you have:3+ years of people management experienceExceptional skills as a craftsperson and the ability to teach othersStrong in strategic thinking and communication; someone who can help influence teamsWhile it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:We love people who like to take risks with new and interesting methodologies and ideas; who are not always satisfied with the status quo and always eager to improve both themselves and others.Experience working on early stage or zero-to-one projectsExperience working on growth teams or creative marketplacesAt Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. Pay Transparency Disclosure
If based in Figma's San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.
Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub):
$180,000-$317,000 USD
