Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our North America Marketing Team in the Bioscience Division as a Marketing Project Manager. A successful candidate will have the ability to coordinate projects from concept to completion successfully, direct and manage timelines for cross-functional teams and tasks, influence business partners, get results through others and work effectively in a matrixed environment.

Location:

This is an onsite position in Carlsbad, CA, Eugene, OR, Grand Island, NY or Bothell, WA. Residency near one of these locations is required. No relocation assistance available.

How you will make an impact!

The Marketing Project Manager for the North America Marketing team will play a critical role in driving process improvement, productivity and efficiency within the team. They will coordinate, facilitate and provide executional support for key marketing initiatives, programs and internal sales meetings. Identifying, documenting and communicating project status, plans, issues, timelines, action items, changes to scope, and contingency plans to ensure that projects are well-planned and have a high probability of being completed on-schedule and within scope with minimal interruption.

What you will do:

The duties and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following:

Sales Meetings:

Lead bi-annual sales meeting coordination, timelines, scheduling and logistics

Own and maintain attendee lists, sales rep session assignments, run-of-shows, networking events, gamification, team member coordination and on-site support to ensure a seamless business partner and attendee experience

Collaborate with various partners to meet deadlines, manage vendor relationships, invoices, shipping and adhere to budget requirements

Other Responsibilities:

Prepares documents, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, presentations, and spreadsheets

Manage sales new hire product training and scheduling which occurs every 6 weeks

Consolidate, track, and streamline metrics and reporting across regional sub-teams

Handle team PO submissions and tracking

Develop and maintain a team budget tracking mechanism

Coordinate onboarding for new hires within the team

Maintain regional marketing Microsoft Teams sites and other platforms

Assist in keeping other large regional projects on task and to timelines

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team productivity

Minimum Qualifications

:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

3+ years of proven experience in project coordination or a similar role.

Exceptional organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills.

Flawless attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to multi-task and balance sophisticated and routine work activities

Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Experience with Docebo, Coupa, Malbek or other similar platforms a plus.

Ambitious and focused on achieving goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

Life sciences industry experience

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.00–$120,000.00.
