What we’re looking for

The U.S. Personal Banking Marketing team is looking for talented, creative and ambitious

This role supports Citi Retail Services - the organization that partners with the biggest retailers in the US. The VP, Partner Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development of short and long-term credit marketing campaigns to drive growth and customer engageme. Core responsibilities include:

(1) Develop and own the annual marketing plan to drive growth for key clients - working with internal stakeholders and executions teams, as well as with the partner.

(2) Manage / facilitate necessary approvals for initiatives inclusive of funding approval, legal, and compliance

(3) Work with the client and agencies to create best-in-class marketing communications that drives customer action;

(4) Execute key programs, working with Marketing operations and channel owners.

(5) Partner with cross functional teams including Risk and Decision management to assess performance, optimize and share learnings,

(6) Ensure all campaigns adhere to all legal, compliance, and control requirements and documentation is properly maintained.

The VP, Partner Marketing Manager will serve as a primary day-to-day contact with internal cross-functional teams, as well as the Partners . The incumbent will be expected to challenge the status quo and drive innovation and efficiencies within their Marketing domain.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required

Marketing experience launching campaigns within financial services, or regulated industry, and all that entails with securing approvals and ensuring controls are met for those programs.

Partner / client-facing experience

Strong understanding of marketing principles, including creative development.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, alongside the proven ability to collaborate and influence cross functional stakeholders and partners

Curiosity and passion for marketing, staying abreast of industry news, best practices, and emerging trends

Ability to analyze / interpret data to develop marketing strategies

Qualifications:

6-10 years of experience in Marketing and retail bank/financial services industry experience.

Requires attention to detail, advanced project management skills, good communication and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at once.

Creative problem solving and sense of ownership.

Solid communication, presentation and project management skills.

Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
