Creating mobile app interactions with 60fps gesturesBuilding delightful animations with just the right amount of bounce and easingBrainstorming and prototyping new interactions with the design teamBuilding pixel-perfect user interfaces for iOS and Android devicesWhat we're looking for in you
You take pride in your craftsmanship and delivering delightful experiences to usersYou qualify as an interaction designer, but have the ability to bring your ideas to lifeYou have a great feel for how animations should feel, and fiddle with decimal values around acceleration, velocity, and decelerationYou understand gesture recognizers inside and outYou understand one programming language deeplyPreferred Qualifications3+ years experience building mobile applications in either React Native or Swift1+ years shipping production-quality gestures and/or animations in mobile appsProduct design background is a bonusBenefits & PerksThis position will be fully remote, and we are accepting candidates based out of the following states: California, Oregon, Washington, or New York401k and health insuranceUnlimited PTORegular game-time to play virtual games and company hangoutsCompany-sponsored fantasy leagues with real prizesSleeper believes in quality over quantity, and intentionally keeps our team small as a result. Certain locations in the United States require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the base salary range and/or a general description of benefits and other compensation applicable to the role.For this role in those locations, a reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for new hires is $140,000 to $240,000.Please note that The compensation range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
