The successful candidate will work with the company's film team to negotiate and draft agreements necessary to develop, produce and/or acquire the company's live action feature films. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to make an impact at Netflix by contributing to the creation of our high-profile feature films, and by being a mentor to stunning colleagues on the team.Requirements The successful candidate will also possess the following:Clear, concise communication skills.Strong analytical capabilities and judgment, even when the rules are unclear and the issues are of first impression.Ability to work proactively, independently and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment.A strong sense of urgency and the ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities.Ability to pivot quickly and fluidly, think practically and be solution-oriented.Prior experience in a mentoring role is highly desirable, as is a commitment to elevating the work of the entire legal affairs team.J.D. and membership in good standing in at least one state bar.Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $280,000-960,000.Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
