This role will assist the CMO in day-to-day operations of leading a robust, global marketing team. The ideal candidate will help facilitate the CMO's leadership efforts across a variety of meetings and initiatives while also working closely with leaders both in and out of marketing to help evaluate and implement workflows, best practices, and processes that drive marketing effectiveness, global alignment, and business growth.
How you will do it:
Serve as thought partner to the CMO and play an integral role in taking JCI's marketing function to the next level. Support the improvement of performance, process and collaboration within marketing and across company functions.Provide project management and execution support on CMO priorities and special projects. Develop project plans, timelines and organize and lead discussions with stakeholders.Help prepare CMO for executive committee meetings, board meetings and global town halls with pre-meeting documents, logistics, briefings, etc. Coordinate pre-read materials, decks, and analysis for meetings where input and decisions are expected.Author and deliver communications on behalf of the CMO.Keep a pulse on the business and connect the dots with others across the company to determine actions required to meet objectives.Stay informed about industry best practices and help implement relevant improvements.Demonstrate a high degree of emotional intelligence and ability to influence without authority to navigate complex dynamics. Be flexible, resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, and adaptable to a high-change environment.Act as a liaison between the CMO and other departments, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.Communicate effectively and foster collaboration among multiple stakeholders and business functions with varying perspectives.What we look for:
Marketing-focused MBA and/or management consulting experience preferred.High energy, self-motivated, collaborative work style.Exceptional project management and PowerPoint skills.Significant leadership and relationship-building ability, with proven success in influencing and leading without authority.Ability to handle confidential information with high integrity.Data-driven strategic thinker with strong analytical, communication, and listening skills.
