Position OverviewThe Creative Services Account Manager is a multifaceted role encompassing business development, creative direction, project management, and client relations. This role is responsible for establishing and growing a successful creative services department as well as maintaining our existing client portfolio. This position is responsible for client account growth and profitability, and overseeing the development, execution, and management of client creative projects.Key Duties & Responsibilities

Identify and target ideal clientsDevelop proposals and presentation material for new business development opportunitiesNegotiate contracts and secure new businessManage and grow client relationshipsMaintain positive client relationships and informs senior leadership of any potential client relations issues, i.e., capacity, budget overruns, etc.Manage internal and contract creative team, and ensure projects meet client expectations and are delivered on time and within budget.Meet regularly with creative services team to review active projectsEnsure proper and efficient staffing of each creative service projectReview and approve project estimates, to ensure budget parameters are met and profitability maintainedManage the profitability of each client accountDevelops strategic growth plans for each clientEnsure all work meets Communiqué USA's standards of quality and client brand standardSeek out opportunities to develop additional business from existing clientsEffectively present, sell, and defend all work/proposals to clients; supports creative service team members in these functionsSupervise the completion of creative briefs for all client projects, initiating kick-off meetings with creative team and clients for major projectsEnsure that financial management of accounts meets Communiqué USA standards; facilitate client follow-up to ensure timeliness of accounts receivableApprove timesheets, time off requests, and expense disbursements from creative services teamGain the confidence of the client and the client's team so that they seek guidance and advice on a routine basis; keeps apprised of clients' brands/products/services/marketing developmentsStay up to date on creative services industry trendsSupport and represent Communiqué USA at various client, industry, and community functions as neededQualifications

Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spiritBachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field and 5+ year's work experience in the marketing/digital marketing/communications industryMinimum of 2 years agency experience preferredA clear understanding of today's digital communications and marketing industryAbility to manage marketing/communication projects and production process from implementation to completionSuperior knowledge of creative production process and ability to evaluate creative materialsHigh competency level on computer and software skills compatibility with job responsibilities, especially proficient in Microsoft Office tools, Adobe Creative SuiteDemonstrated understanding and experience with project management software. Asana, Monday.com, Hubspot, Jira etc.Superior project management and detail-oriented skillsStrong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects as neededStrong presentational, analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively work to tight deadlines and manage projects independently.Excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive and enthusiastic attitudeAbility to work in a team environment and build relationshipsStrong follow-through on all assignments, providing end-to-end support to clients, internal SMEs and stakeholdersSuperior professionalism and judgement with a strong work ethicPassion for creativity and innovation
