Job Description Summary:

The Project Manager, Interior Design will Implement and manage a comprehensive, efficient process for interior design projects that exceeds the customer's expectations. The position will own the interior design projects from concept to completion and manage projects according to the OhioHealth design standards, creating a cohesive intentional brand experience across the system.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree: Interior Design (Required)

Degree in interior design from an accredited institution.Minimum of 5 years of relevant interior design project experience.Accumulate work experience in tasks related to interior design and project management, including creating detailed design plans and visual presentations, managing budgets, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and furniture design and specifications.SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

Design Expertise: A strong grasp if interior design fundamentals, including color theory, design principles, furniture design and aesthetics.Project Management: Proficiency in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet client specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.Communication: Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, designers, architects, contractors, and suppliers.Budgeting and Procurement: Ability to develop and manage small project budgets, source materials, and oversee procurement.Code Compliance: Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices relevant to interior design projects.DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

Software Proficiency: Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Bluebeam.Healthcare Design Experience.Prior exposure to healthcare design projects is desirable.Strong Furniture Design Capabilities.Adept at furniture space planning and specification.Organizational and Communication Skills.Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and project components.Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and contractors.Adaptability to Fast-Paced Environments.Comfortable working in dynamic, deadline-driven setting.Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills are valuable.Interpersonal Relationship Building.Ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.Independence and Multitasking: Self-motivated and capable of handling various responsibilities independently.Efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

This role encompasses various critical responsibilities including:

Work Order Project Request System Management:

Efficiently oversee the interiors work order project request system. This involves handling incoming requests, assigning projects to the appropriate team or individuals, and ensuring timely execution and close-out.Track project progress and manage contract vendors involved in the execution of interior design projects.Design Support and Standards Guidance:

Collaboration with various departments, including Real Estate, Construction, Facilities, Property Management, Safety and Infection Prevention and equipment to execute interior projects.Travel within the OhioHealth supporting region is required for this role.Monitor or conduct field verifications and oversee or create detailed design drawings.Offer guidance on design standards to maintain consistency across projects.Project Monitoring and Reporting:

Monitor the progress of each project from initiation to completion. Utilize the work order reporting system to monitor contract vendors, identify problems, ensure timely completion, and monitor project volumes.Furniture Resource Management:

Assist with small furniture design and relocation projects relate to the work order system.Analyze interior resource needs and allocate furniture appropriately.Collaborate closely with the interiors and planning team to seamlessly integrate brand standards into daily operations.Interior Standards and Data Base Support:

Assists in the maintenance and validation of space assignment and utilization.Submits all occupancy, furniture, equipment, and finish plan changes, as they occur in order to maintain an accurate facilities computer data base.Support the management and updating of interior finishes and furniture standards.Support the research and implementation of sustainability as it relates to interior finish and furniture standards.
