The Hindu American Foundation (HAF) is a non-profit advocacy organization for the Hindu American community. Founded in 2003, HAF's work impacts a range of issues - from the portrayal of Hinduism in K-12 textbooks to civil and human rights to addressing contemporary problems by applying Hindu philosophy.

The Foundation educates the public about Hinduism, speaks out about issues affecting Hindus worldwide, and builds bridges with institutions and individuals whose work aligns with HAF's objectives. Position Summary:

Working under the supervision of the Senior Director of Marketing and Creative Strategy, the Graphic Designer will assist in executing creative-driven tasks while maintaining branding of HAF, help elevate the output of design in quantity and quality, and maintain HAF's reputation of being the premier organization for Hindu American advocacy.

Essential Duties:

The Graphic Designer will be able to perform the following duties with or without reasonable accommodations:

Create and design various materials for digital, print, web, and video, working with wide range of media and graphic design softwareAdvise best practices and optimizations throughout design projectsCollaborate with team members to develop new approaches for creating more-expressive graphicsStay current on design trends to ensure HAF remains fresh and relevant within branding guidelinesManage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictionsDetermine voice and messaging for graphic design piecesQC design for errorsCreate templates that fall within branding guidelines for general useReview creative from external audiences to ensure compliance with organizational brandingHelp maintain and organize media asset libraries on network drives and Adobe Creative CloudRequired Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a creative field, or demonstrate equivalent level of work experience in your portfolioMinimum of 3 years experience in graphic designPortfolio of work with a wide range of creative projectsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software (primarily Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and CanvaWorking knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and FigmaFamiliarity with web design preferredAbility to quickly learn platforms that enable remote work: Slack, Asana, Google DriveAbility to communicate effectivelyAttention to detailStrong analytical skillsOrganized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyWork Environment and Physical Requirements:
