The

Group Media Director

at Envisionit will be instrumental in overseeing our Paid and Organic Media programs for top Technology, Tourism and Consumer brands. Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, this leader will be responsible for the end-to-end solutions delivery of media strategy, planning, operations, execution & implementation. This role will partner closely with internal colleagues across Strategy, Client Service, Sales, Creative and Analytics. They will be a key frontstage contributor, ensuring client success as the agency Media expert. And backstage, they will be hands-on in developing integrated strategies (at times, delving into platforms side-by-side the team).

This valued teammate will be able to build actionable media programs that improve business outcomes with their direct reports and team. Strong business acumen, as well as marketing technology and measurement expertise are required to thrive in this managerial and executive-facing position.

Job Responsibilities:

Accountable for overall SEO and Paid Media team delivery on excellence standards established by the agency and client program performanceLeads Media group operations - managing utilization, resourcing, account assignments/casting & priorities across multiple initiativesIdentifies successes or opportunities, implements continuous learning & improvement across all clientsServes as a mentor, executing training and education plans directly with team membersSets a standard of delivery, ensuring teams are energized, capable & knowledgeable "the next time around"Supports media team product roadmap, including identifying gaps in current offerings aligned to client and prospect needs & foresight into new industry trendsPartners with internal Sales and Marketing on our product and services and serves as key point of contact with RFPsStays informed with client programs, guiding teams on up- and cross-sell opportunities, or reprioritization of agency services that objectively better meet client goalsSupports proposal development for media services by asking the right questions at the right time to ensure the assumptions for agency services against estimated hours are consistent with benchmarksMaximizes client investments by understanding levers and testing methods that impact program health, performance, scale and overall effect on outcomesGenerates media strategies, plans and solutions, ensuring they are aligned to objectives and with quantifiable goalsIdentifies any downstream client obstacles proactively, anticipating needs and recommending adjustmentsPartners with the Analytics team to simplify insights, develop hypotheses, generate better outcomes and implement testing strategies that are measurably better over time, aligned to predefined business outcomesDevelops succinct slides that gain client alignment through storytelling alongside Strategy, Client Service and Creative colleaguesKeeps apprised of key industry trends across channels and implements best-in-class practicesRecommends products and processes that support automation and other capabilities, especially through the use of AI & emerging technologyQualifications:

Bachelor or Masters' Degree in Marketing, Economics, Analytics, Business -or- equivalent experience8-12+ years of related experience; sufficient time spent in an agency, marketing technology or consultant capacity working across multiple clients simultaneously is requiredAbility to manage several projects with a focus on resultsHands-on experience with Paid Search, Programmatic and Social Media buying platforms with knowledge of CRMs, Google Analytics, GA4, SEMRush, aHrefs and other related software; this role requires the ability to log into platforms for auditing, review and other technical hands-on needs when necessaryIntegrated media planning & measurement experience including B2B demand generation, eCommerce and offline programsExperience managing full-funnel omni-channel marketing programs: SEM (paid search and SEO), programmatic, paid social, influencer, email, offline, earned and owned mediaProven competency with testing strategies: Channel, audience, creative, CRO, UX and other methods that result in measurably improved business outcomes and media qualityBusiness acumen to consistently identify opportunities and repeat successes across client groupsStrong communication and presentation skills to gain alignment
