Principal Technical Program Manager, Pricing & Promotions Science Amazon's Pricing & Promotions Science is seeking a driven Principal Technical Program Manager to anchor our exceptional group of researchers towards successful delivery on our mission of generating fresh customer-relevant prices & promotions on billions of Amazon and Third Party Seller products worldwide.

We are looking for an experienced leader who is a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and has the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.Key Job Responsibilities

Plot The Course:

Coordinate across Science, Engineering, Product, Business, Legal, and Finance to capture and translate requirements into an actionable science delivery roadmap.Mitigate Risks:

Manage cross-functional and cross-org dependencies risks, and make appropriate trade-offs weighing value vs time to market.Be The Pulse:

Own regular communication mechanisms to keep senior leadership & stakeholders informed of program progress, risks, timelines, and high judgement decisions.Deliver Results:

Lead effective and efficient delivery of large, complex science programs.About the Team The Pricing & Promotions Science organization leverages planet scale multi-modal data on billions of Amazon and external competitor products to build advanced machine learning models for product similarity, substitutability, error detection & correction, and probabilistic price estimation, discovery and discount optimization, promotion & deal recommendation and ranking, and causal short & long term impact measurement. We preserve long term customer trust by ensuring Amazon's prices are always competitive and error free.Minimum Qualifications

7+ years of technical product or program management experience.10+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience.Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.5+ years technical hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, and/or causal modeling techniques.Prior experience managing analytics, data science, or machine learning, research, or applied science teams.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
