A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.We are looking for a Director, Corporate Communications who will develop a wide range of written, verbal, and digital communications assets to support the mission of Bloom Energy. This person will support all areas of communications and will have high cross-functional engagement such as Marketing, Human Resources, Product, Sales, and Finance at the executive level.Role and Responsibilities:
Develop and lead fully integrated communications strategies and campaigns for thought leadership, perception shifting, and brand awareness across all internal, external, and social media channels.Work directly with the executive leadership team and agencies to craft reactive and proactive media responses, proactive media pitches, and respond to press inquiries.Develop and execute an internal communications plan: you will align internal and executive messaging with the company’s vision, mission and product positioning.Provide support for internal and external executive appearances, including presentations, corporate announcements, and company meetings.Lead the development and strategy around new and existing communication channels.Work cross-functionally across teams: you will work in close partnership with Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Investor Relations, and Executive Leadership to execute communication initiatives from concept to delivery.Support leadership and company meetings and events: you will help craft the messaging and program through agenda, speaker selection and logistics.Execute digital communication strategy across multiple social platformsLeverage analytical tools to provide innovative recommendations for enhancement of systems and processesCreate slides, briefing documents, memos, Q&As and other communications materials for executivesSkills and experiences:
12+ years of work experience writing in a corporate environment, preferably in the Energy industry: you’ve managed a variety of corporate communications channels, both internal and externalStrong executive communications experience: you can write and tailor content for specific audiences that demonstrates a deep understanding of messaging, positioning and stakeholder needs.Organized and creative: with news constantly changing, you’re able to adapt and change directions in an instant.Experience writing for a global audience with multiple types of audiences and channelsAbility to influence and build effective relationships with senior leadersExperience managing multiple projects simultaneously working against timelinesProven success playing a consultative role with a variety of stakeholdersExperience writing and turning complex information into relevant, engaging, timely and valuable contentExperience planning multi-channel communication campaigns from concept to deliveryExperience with events and logisticsExperience working with a founder CEO and/or experience working for a public company preferred.BA in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or relevant fieldAdvanced degree in journalism, communications, public relations (preferred)Salary Ranges: $189,400.00 - $272,600.00 Unauthorized Recruitment Communication Alert
