Compensation: $67,600 - $73,300

FLSA: Exempt

Location: Hybrid – 2 days/week in office

All candidates must be within commutable distance of SEO’s offices at 55 Exchange Place, New York, NY 10005, upon hire.

POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES

The SEO College Scholars Operational Specialist provides technical support to the College Scholars operations team by maintaining, tracking, synthesizing, and disseminating information related to program initiatives and outcomes. A successful Senior Program Coordinator will approach their tasks with confidence and curiosity, think ahead to anticipate needs, and address challenges with drive and resourcefulness.

Maintain confidentiality of information exposed to during data entry regarding students

Organize and ensure accuracy of graduation tracker to provide historical details and insight to future projections

Collaborate with departments across the organization to provide data and metrics for internal and external reports

Collaborate with IT on maintaining Salesforce third-party integrated apps.

Oversee portions of finance processes, such as AMEX reports, budget oversight, communication with scholarship recipients, document collection, relationship with US Bank, and administration of payments and record keeping within Box and Salesforce

Administer our student facing web-based platforms for mass communications and appointment systems, including texting and calendar scheduling; provide training to staff on systems updates.

Project management with the timely collection, tracking, and processing of student transcripts and stipend data in Salesforce, along with all relevant FERPA documentation

Implement automatic processes for tracking purposes to serve as working documents for staff.

Continue relationships with external parties (CUNY Network for College Success; National Student Clearinghouse; colleges and universities) for timely and ongoing access to student information

Contribute to planning annual event logistics, both virtual and in-person, along with providing technical assistance during events season(s)

Organize and clean up historical student data and prepare for import into Salesforce

Utilize Salesforce systems, and additional technology platforms such as Form Assembly, DocuSign, Google Sheets/Excel, BOX, HubSpot, Typeform, Zoom, among others

Contribute to a safe educational and working environment by participating in all trainings

Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in IT, computer science, math, or a similar background

2-4 years of professional experience (e.g., education, technology training, nonprofit management, or similar setting)

Experience in maintaining accurate records and tracking projects with multiple tasks and phases

Highly detail-oriented and organized approach to tasks while able to meet competing deadlines

Exceptional communication skills: verbal, written, interpersonal (phone and in-person)

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (especially VLOOKUP formula), and Google Drive

Must be data driven; familiarity with Salesforce, Form Assembly, and/or HubSpot a plus

The compensation listed in this posting reflects what SEO believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
