The Growth Marketing team is charged with driving member growth and revenues from businesses advertising on the platform. This team has a Marketing Science function which utilizes data science focused purely on new customer growth. We are looking for a data scientist to grow the team and optimize growth marketing decisions.The Impact You’ll Make:

You will have an opportunity to work in a growth-focused organization and make a huge impact by optimizing how we use a multi-million dollar marketing budget. Your work will involve strategic thinking and solving complex business problems.Your Responsibilities Will Include:Own analytical projects end-to-end, forming structured opinions from ambiguous problems.Establish a shared vision with cross-functional teams to develop strategies based on data-driven insights.Ensure efficient and accurate experiment design, including monitoring early feature development.Build scalable metrics and dashboards to inform product strategy.Care about data quality and empower employees to leverage data for success.Contribute to the KIND culture at Nextdoor and educate stakeholders.What You’ll Bring To The Team:3+ years of relevant work experience with a MS or PhD in a quantitative discipline.3+ years of experience partnering with Marketing teams.Proactive in identifying better ways of working and recommending solutions.Experience in applied statistics and statistical modeling, preferably in Python.Experience in designing trustworthy experimentation and analyzing A/B testing results.Expert knowledge of SQL and Python programming.Excellent communication skills to explain complex problems to various audiences.Able to solve ambiguous business problems with structured analytics.Curiosity in finding meaningful insights that inform product and business strategies.Bonus Points:Familiarity with B2B marketing.Experience with complex attribution solutions.Experience building predictive models using machine learning.Knowledge of online advertising and ad tech best practices.Rewards:
