The ideal candidate will possess strong UX design skills, including proficiency in conducting user research, creating personas, and designing user journeys. Additionally, they should demonstrate a passion for crafting intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles. As a mid-level designer, you will play an integral role within our Design team, collaborating closely with fellow designers and liaising with our Product team to ensure alignment with product goals and user needs.What You'll Do:Collaborate with the product designer and other team members to understand user requirements and business objectives.Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, ensuring alignment with design principles and best practices in collaboration with other product designers.Identify design challenges and propose elegant solutions that enhance usability and functionality.Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new functions and features, in collaboration with the product designer.Design and deliver user-centric solutions optimized for various devices and interfaces.Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback and insights.Establish and promote design guidelines, standards, and best practices across the organization in collaboration with other team members.What's Expected of You:Minimum 4 years to maximum 5 years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products.Strong understanding of design thinking methodologies and user-centered design principles.Proficient in design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to present and defend your design decisions to stakeholders.Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.Proven portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design work is a must.Extra Credit For:Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.Experience with motion design and animation.Education:Bachelor's degree in design, computer science, or related field.What Sets APIMatic Apart?USD-locked salary and performance based bonuses.Opportunity for Employee Share Option Program.Medical coverage and insurance.The freedom to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.Opportunity to understand API space and excel in API landscape.Silicon Valley advisors, consultants and mentors.Ability to try new things and experiment in your domain.Fun team to work within a startup environment.In-campus free lunch & snacks.Team retreats and events.
