Something went wrong while submitting the form.We are seeking a talented Content Writer/Editor with a deep passion for cycling and endurance sports to join our team on a contractor basis. The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing and editing skills, a strong understanding of the cycling and endurance industry, and the ability to create compelling content across various formats.Responsibilities :

Content Creation:

Produce engaging and informative content focused on cycling, endurance sports, training, racing, gear reviews, and industry trends and insights.Output : Deliver a mix of articles, features, and product reviews, blending short form (250-500 words) with long form (1,000+ words) pieces.Editing : Ensure all content maintains accuracy, clarity, and aligns with our brand's tone and style guidelines.Research : Stay updated on the latest developments, trends, and innovations in the cycling and endurance industry through research and industry connections.Content Planning : Collaborate with the editorial team to develop content calendars, plan editorial themes, and brainstorm new ideas to drive audience engagement.Interviews and Features : Profile athletes, industry experts, and influencers to create compelling stories and thought leadership pieces.Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and product development to support company initiatives and campaigns.SEO Optimization : Optimize content for search engines by incorporating relevant keywords, meta descriptions, and other SEO best practices to increase organic traffic.Quality Control : Review all copy and sign off throughout the routing process, ensuring that all content meets our high standards for accuracy, integrity, and editorial excellence.Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field.Proven experience as a writer/editor in the cycling, endurance sports, or outdoor industry.Deep understanding of cycling and endurance sports, including training methodologies, equipment, and industry dynamics.Knowledge of cycling brands and terminology, with a strong grasp of fashion/technical/activewear/sportswear language.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.Exceptional command of grammar, spelling, and usage.Versatile and clear style of writing.Creative, collaborative, and receptive to feedback.Strong research skills and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Passionate about cycling, endurance sports, and outdoor adventures.
