Responsible for Graphic Design and Production Typesetting in the Printing Services Department. Works with customers to create their vision and convey their specific message. Provides production design; typesetting; and creative design services to customers, including inserting text into pre-designed forms and templates. Performs typesetting for University forms, envelopes, note cards, and banners. Creates production design templates for customers. Creates creative design logos, booklets, and brochures, video, and web, that integrate across all museum departments, including exhibits, public relations and marketing, visitor services, education and community outreach, and collections and research. This position is in the Exhibits Department and will entail occasional duties assisting in the installation/de-installation and maintenance of permanent and temporary exhibits. Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
