VibrationsLaunched in August 2020, L.A. Vibrations (LAV) is the marketing agency umbrella of parent company L.A. Libations. At L.A. Vibrations, we work with new and emerging beverage brands to help launch, scale, and optimize brands, covering marketing strategy, branding, e-commerce, digital, retail, trade & field marketing.The RoleWe are seeking a talented and driven Assistant Brand Manager (ABM) to join our team. This role will support the larger Brand & Experience team with all marketing projects including retail and events. The ABM will support the day-to-day management of all brands including client communication, event and field marketing coordination, and project management. The role requires a basic understanding of the CPG landscape and general consumer marketing. The ideal candidate would have strong verbal and written communication skills with a proactive, can-do attitude. We are looking for someone who loves building relationships, has exceptional attention to detail, can multi-task, and handles many diverse projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.ResponsibilitiesFoster meaningful, trustworthy relationships with key client stakeholders through smart agendas, thorough recap notes, and concise client communicationSupport the brand marketing team in the day-to-day management of projects, tactical and administrative support across marketing channelsWork with the internal team on meeting agenda topics, issue detailed and timely meeting recaps, and manage follow-upsResponsible for inputting all projects and tasks into Airtable with clear assignments and due datesCollaborate cross-functionally across digital marketing, creative, e-commerce, and operations to secure alignment/feedback/approvals on all major marketing deliverablesAssist in maintaining retailer marketing calendars and internal trackers with promotional activities and marketing activations to share with the broader organizationDevelop clear presentations and be comfortable and confident in presenting to the marketing team and clients as neededExecute local Los Angeles events including logistics, planning, and reportingOrganize and manage various promotional events such as product launches, tastings, and community outreach initiatives to create brand awareness and engage target consumersHelp identify, establish, and nurture relationships with key local partners, such as event venues, retailers, and influencers, to leverage co-marketing opportunitiesLiaise with the marketing team to coordinate and then execute all mailings of coupons, SWAG & POS materialsManage all inventory of POS and SWAG storage unit, including maintaining and tracking inventory levels, alerting the team when stock is low, and reordering materials as neededSit in on marketing meetings and brainstorms; actively participate in the development of marketing strategiesRemain up to date on emerging trends in the CPG space, especially among key competitorsPerform ad hoc duties to support the marketing teamWho You AreBranding, marketing, and collaboration are your favorite words.You are results-oriented, self-directed, inquisitive and entrepreneurially minded.An individual with a polished image and intriguing personality.Someone who is comfortable with taking initiative and able to spot opportunities.Extremely organized with acute attention to detail while prioritizing tasks amongst tight time pressures.Trustworthy, credible and a joy to be around; high level of integrity and excellent sense of judgment.QualificationsBachelor's degree2+ years of marketing experience at a CPG/beverage brand or full-service advertising or marketing agencyPreferably 1-2 years working with high-level stakeholders and/or clientsAble to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent creative, organizational, verbal and written communication skillsDriver's license and car requiredAbility to lift up a minimum of 30 lbs.Some weekend work requiredTravel is required for eventsThis is a hybrid role that requires coming into the office three times a week, some weekend work, and ~Salary is determined through interviews and a review of candidate experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
