We are seeking a

Product Designer to join a growing e-commerce team. This is a remote, full-time, and direct hire role for one of our amazing partners that this growing startup in the e-commerce retail industry. You will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and visual design of their digital products, so you should have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a focus on conversion, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Understand the customers needs by using company data and indicators to develop sound hypotheses about how customers currently use their site, identify friction points, present solutions, and infer future use cases.Create exceptional user experiences by designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for the website and mobile application. This should have a focus on usability, accessibility, and conversion optimization.Design systems and components that evolve the design system and ensures consistency and scalability across all products.Collaborate with the CEO, product, marketing, and engineers to understand requirements, align goals, and bring your designs to life.Prototype and iterate by developing wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to test and refine design concepts.Utilize data and analytics to make data-driven designs, and measure the impact of your designs to make informed decisions to optimize the user experience.Stay in the know about the latest design trends, tools, and technologies in the e-commerce space.KPIs for conversion rate, bounce rate and project rate completionQualifications:

5+ years of experience as a product designerA proven track record in the e-commerce industry with demonstrated expertise in creating and managing successful online shopping experiences.Must have a strong portfolio to showcase your design process, problem-solving skills, and successful product launches.Experience in user-centric design with an expert knowledge of user research methodologies, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.Proficient in Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools.Ability to clearly articulate your design decisions and present your work to stakeholders.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback into your designs.Nice to Have:

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience with A/B testing and experimentation.Familiar with agile development methodologies.
