General Description:

The Creative Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Marketing & Communications Department at the San Antonio Food Bank. Reporting to the Creative Manager, the role will support the execution of creative marketing efforts through graphic design and digital marketing by developing, coordinating, and supporting internal and external communication strategies. Additionally, this position will focus on project coordination with internal Programs departments (Client Services, Nutrition, Workforce, DaisyCares, and others) including graphic design for flyers and collateral, content maintenance for the website, creative communications, and content strategy.

Essential Functions:Performs creative marketing and graphic design work to fulfill the mission of the San Antonio Food Bank. Projects may include, but are not limited to, print and digital collateral, social media content, email content, web content, videos, and other marketing materials.Contributes to the Food Bank's digital asset management system and assists with archiving, tagging, and the organization of digital files.Upholds the San Antonio Food Bank brand guidelines and monitors external/internal compliance.Accepts direction from the Director of Marketing & Communications and Creative Manager to collaborate with various departments as needed to coordinate, strategize, and execute marketing and communications projects.Collaborates with Marketing & Communications team and Programs department to maximize effective usage of branded content across all Food Bank channels.Collaborates with the Creative Manager in the creation and moderation of web content for the Food Bank's websites.Collaborates with the Brand Design Manager in the creation and moderation of web content for the Food Bank's websites.Collaborates with the Digital Marketing Manager in the creation and moderation of social media and email content.Collaborates with the Storytelling Manager in the marketing and design of storytelling content.Contributes to other projects and departmental efforts as assigned.Qualifications

Qualifications:

Two years of experience or demonstrated equivalency in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related fields. Candidates must submit a portfolio of sample work to be considered.Strong Knowledge of graphic design and creative marketing.Strong Knowledge of design production tools and familiarity with critical design concepts such as layout and UI best practices.Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.Skills in computer applications i.e. Microsoft Office Suite.Skills in creative applications i.e. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.Be comfortable with design production tools and familiar with critical design concepts such as layout and UI best practices.Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.Ability to organize work, time, and self.Orientation to detail, accuracy, and the meeting of deadlines.Ability to work cooperatively with Food Bank staff, donors, partners, and volunteers.Ability to present a professional demeanor under a variety of conditions.Work, as needed, to include days, evenings, and weekends.

Work Environment

This job is performed in an indoor office environment and occasionally may require attendance at outdoor events. You may be required to drive to different locations with varying conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
