Through our four business groups, DRiV, Ride Performance, Clean Air and Powertrain, Tenneco is driving advancements in global mobility by delivering technology solutions for diversified global markets, including light vehicle, commercial truck, off-highway, industrial, motorsport and the aftermarket.

This position is responsible for leading a global team to craft and executing communication strategies that drive Tenneco's strategic vision and change management initiatives at an unparalleled pace. The position may be based in Northville, MI and reports directly to the VP Communications of the company.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrive the execution of communication strategies that align with and propel Tenneco's vision and goals alongside the global communication teamLead and mentor a highly motivated team to exceed expectationsDevelop and deliver communication plans and campaigns, inclusive of internal and external channels, that inform, engage and guide employees and stakeholdersOversee the creation and delivery of compelling, high-quality content across multiple platforms to amplify brand messagesCultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster trust and collaborationContinuously analyze and report on communication effectiveness, driving constant improvement and innovationMinimum Requirements

Education:

A bachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism, marketing or related field

Experience:

A minimum of seven years in corporate communications, with a minimum of three years leading a team

Skills

Proven experience within a global organization, supporting significant organizational priorities and change through strategic communication initiativesAble to succeed in fast-paced, dynamic environment with autonomySuperior written and verbal communication skills and ability to create clear, concise and impactful messagesOutstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, with a knack for influencing and engaging stakeholdersSkilled in utilizing communication tools and platforms, including social media, CMS and analytics software.
