Job Title: Designer IV

Job Description

As a Designer IV, your main role will be to assist Engineering and Operations in complying with the Facility Data Management Programs. You'll have heavy Electrical and Instrumentation experience to update and maintain Electrical Hazardous Area Classification Plans, Grounding Plans, Electrical One Line diagrams, Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Loop Diagrams and other drawings that may be required. You'll communicate with internal and external business partners to determine needs and satisfaction, review and verify that plans, designs, drawings, and maps conform to applicable codes, standards, specifications and the requirements of internal business partners. You'll also ensure accurate, timely, and efficient design and delivery of drawings from conception to as-built state and continued maintenance and updates afterwards.

Schematic Ladder Diagrams

Wiring Diagrams

Loop Diagrams

PLC controllers

Electrical design for Compressor Stations, Meter Stations, and Mainline Valve Sites

Electrical Plans

Conduit and Cable Schedules

Grounding Plans

Electrical Classification Area Plans (EAC)

MCC Schematics

Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD-compatible software such as CADWorx Plant and CADWorx P&ID

Soft Skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Houston, Texas.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role based in an office environment, working 40 hours per week.
