The Domestic Violence Division of the Anchorage Trial Court is accepting applications for a Court Case Manager 1 (salary range 10).

Under direct supervision of the DV supervisor, the incumbent will assist customers and process filings.

** Employees working in this job classification will promote to salary range 11 after successful completion of three years of service with the court. **

What will you be doing?Assist the public in filing petitions for protective orders, provide direction to additional resources that are available, answer phones, set up and index new case files, review filings for completeness, and distribute orders as necessary.

Additionally, you will provide assistance to the general public, attorneys, state agencies, and court system staff with file and copy requests, and forms and research materials. There may be an occasional need to perform duties of an in-court clerk including opening court, operating recording equipment, administering oaths, and writing log notes.

The Work HoursFull-time court employees are currently scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The work hours for this position are Wednesday - Sunday or Saturday - Wednesday 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. after initial training of Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
