As the SharePoint UI/UX Designer, you will be joining a growing team that is working on exciting and highly visible projects for our Department of the Treasury customers . You will have a strong graphic design and user interface design skillset and y ou will work with a highly collaborative team to bring fresh and innovative solutions to the customer.

Program Mission

The Project You Will Be Working Will Be To Create Customer-centered SharePoint Products That Enhance User Experiences At Treasury. You Will Work Closely With Stakeholders, Throughout The Organization, To Design An Intuitive And Visually Appealing SharePoint That Meets Customer Requirements. Additional, Tasks Include:

Understand user needs and requirements through research, user interviews, surveys, and other methodologies to inform design decisionsDevelop user personas, user stories, and user journeys to guide the design process and effectively communicate user needs to the teamPresent and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholdersCreate wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideasDevelop high-quality user interface designs, prototypes, and mockupsConduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and optimize designs for usability and efficiencyEstablish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards to maintain consistency across all products

Requirements:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, analyze user needs, and design effective user interfaces for the web applicationDesign UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our web applicationCollaborate with developers to ensure successful implementation of designs within an agile development processContinually review and revise design recommendations and engage with digital users to ensure usability and user satisfactionCreate written user documentation, instructions, and procedures for the purpose of training new users and improving overall user proficiencyResearch, analyze, and test new technologies and design trends to improve the user experienceEnsure the web application meets accessibility standards and complies with government brand standards and guidelinesAbility to wireframe, prototype, and validate work using design toolsKnowledge of web application design principles and government branding standards

Years of Experience : minimum of 5 - 8 years of relevant experience

Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
