The Role

We are seeking an energetic, results-driven and experienced Principal Product Marketing Manager to lead our data protection, cyber resiliency, and compliance solution marketing strategies, establishing us as leaders in the global enterprise market. We need a dynamic communicator who can turn technical details into compelling stories and drive product demand through strategic messaging and collaboration. You'll craft comprehensive marketing strategies, targeting potential customers and driving market penetration across sectors.

Responsibilities include:

Lead the development and execution of a strong product marketing strategy for our operation resiliency portfolio. Drive go-to-market strategy, encompassing market analysis, segmentation, and penetration plans to boost adoption and acquire customers.Collaborate with corporate campaign teams, sales enablement, and channel teams to drive awareness and sales pipeline for our solutions.Create persuasive messaging and positioning tailored to target markets and industries. Develop customer-centric messaging focused on distinct solutions and use cases, differentiating our offerings in the market.Develop and manage a comprehensive suite of external-facing assets, including customer presentations, website content, sales enablement materials, and digital media such as blogs, whitepapers, and videos that effectively communicate product value.Be the subject matter expert and face of Hitachi Vantara for webinars, industry events, videos, and customer briefings.Create and manage the company narrative for this space ensuring all communications align with brand messaging.Utilize market insights and trends to tune outbound messaging and update sales enablement materials.

Primary Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.10+ years of experience in product and/or solutions marketing for data protection.Deep understanding of data protection offerings, their integration with storage environments, and the needs organizations have for operational resiliency.Knowledge of storage technologies as part of integrated and adjacent data protection solutions.Experience in data management for regulatory compliance.Familiarity with the cybersecurity/ransomware protection and recovery market.Demonstrated ability in coordinating and collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders.Strong analytical skills and experience with market analysis, segmentation, and targeting.Proven leadership skills and experience in strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration.Ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, engaging narratives, with strong skills in writing and visual communication.Proven track record in developing and executing marketing strategies, campaigns and launches that drive product adoption and growth.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical details in a clear, concise manner.
