Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.Responsibilities: The Solutions Architect is responsible for the ideation, conceptualization, and development of technology solutions based on the customers’ business needs and understanding of the customers’ environment for proposal development activities. Serve as the primary author for technical white papers or proposal responses. Maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the company’s solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers.Specific duties include:From the requirements, conceptualize and develop a high-level design or plan, and then estimate the amount of effort required to deliver. Advise the team about the risks associated with this work.Serve as principal author for proposals and white papers to translate technical details into concise and easy to understand written form.Translate verbal requirements from face-to-face client meetings into requirements documents, statements of work, and proposals.Responsible for implementing part or all of the technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design.Understands a broad spectrum of company technology in order to provide part or all of a detailed technical design which meets customer requirements.Often leads small to medium technical solution meetings.Demonstrates execution of the company strategy.Contributes to knowledge tools and communities and ensures project learnings are documented and shared.Role models knowledge sharing and re-use within practice or profession.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or related field or eight years of relevant experience.Professional experience 2-5 years in a technical field.Experience serving as a primary author on technical white papers, proposals, or experience writing on innovative technology topics.Very good written and verbal communication skills.Fast learner of technology concepts and understanding the purpose of technologies.Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the design of technical solutions.Mastery of at least one technical discipline with strong knowledge in at least three major technology areas.Possesses advanced level of business, technical, or functional knowledge.Ability to apply technology and consulting to solve a client business problem.Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence.Demonstrates the use of consulting skills, including questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing.Ability to collaborate with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals.Strong consulting skills to capture customer requirements and preferences.Strong teamwork to collaborate and deliver solutions more effectively and document knowledge to share with others.Ability to operate effectively within a virtual (cross-cultural) team.Proposal and presentation writing skills.Ability to conduct or lead oral presentations or technical interchange meetings with clientsAble to discuss (within own area of expertise) requirements with a customer, and to challenge and clarify when appropriate.Master’s degree in computer science, information technology management or related fieldBenefits: DLH Corp offers our employees an excellent benefits package including - Personal Time Off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, supplemental life with AD&D, short and long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, parental leave, legal services and more.
