Brightcove is looking for a hands-on, strategic leader who can head up our Ad monetization business. The Vice President of Ad Operations works primarily in ad decisioning/ad server systems to track, analyze, and optimize revenue and delivery of advertising against client inventory. This position will implement SSP deals, set up new clients, support trafficking, yield optimization and reporting, and will trouble-shoot issues with the ad decisioning server. This position will also collaborate with all Brightcove teams involved in implementing Brightcove’s new ad tech capabilities and servicing clients and partners.

If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.Responsibilities:Operate and analyze ad tech stack, optimizing on the partner level as well as overall enterprise level.Onboard and manage new programmatic (SSP and Ad Network) partners and assist in any troubleshooting around SSP setups, partner integrations and ad deliveryWork with the leadership team to define, launch, and drive strategic / operational ad tech initiatives.Oversee the day-to-day client ad operations initiative within Brightcove, in partnership with our publisher clients, constantly evaluating revenue performance in meeting internal and external objectives.Partner and work closely with internal teams to develop a streamlined operational setup for maximizing yield / revenue.Analyze programmatic ad performance and effectively communicate to the client recommendations for optimization to maximize account growth and retention.Measure revenue daily/weekly/monthly and proactively address issues and develop solutions as needed.Essential Qualifications/Competencies7-10 years of ad operations experience in the programmatic ad tech ecosystem.Hands-on experience with ad serving systems such as Springserve, PubMatic, Freewheel, Beachfront, Google Ad Manager, as well as deep knowledge of SSPs and DSPs.Deep understanding of the programmatic ad tech ecosystem with an emphasis on unified auctions / ad decisioning and SSPs.Demonstrated success at working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships internally and externally.Proven track record of client customer success.Hands-on ability to analyze ad performance and recommend optimized solutions.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will get your hands into the ad ops details.Targeted Base Salary Range:$287,640-$342,000The base salary range listed above is across locations in the US.
