Job Duties and Responsibilities

DishLATINO is the market-leading suite of Spanish and English language satellite TV programming packages in the United States. We offer our customers more than 40 Spanish-language news, entertainment, and sports channels in combination with DISH’s broad English-language programming lineup of more than 200 channels. DishLATINO is the brand leader among the growing Spanish Language programming segment. We have been connecting Hispanic families to their cultural roots since 1999.

DishLATINO is accountable for the strategy, growth, and development of all marketing initiatives geared toward the Latino audience in the U.S., driving the DishLATINO business annually. This team manages the campaigns and initiatives that tell our brand story, reach our target audiences, and drive our yearly sales goals.

We are seeking a passionate, self-starting, bi-cultural, bilingual experienced marketer with a winner’s mindset. This is a high-energy role for a well-rounded business professional who can hit the ground running and drive results immediately.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in brand/acquisition marketing communications on an award-winning business unit. Put your marketing prowess to the test by collaborating on the brand and acquisition messaging strategy and creative campaigns - all on day one!

The Marketing Lead, Brand will be responsible for overseeing brand-related messaging and creative tactics for DishLATINO. You will work closely with cross-functional marketing teams, the consumer insights team, and dedicated strategic and creative agencies to guide the communication, insights, and brand/acquisition messaging to deliver breakthrough growth. You will report to the Head of Latino and International Brands.

Key Responsibilities:

Support annual Brand Planning including Experience Plan

Support brand/acquisition campaigns, creative development, and execution across all DishLATINO tactics; the Marketing Lead is the principal support for these key projects

Provide feedback to creative agencies with oversight from senior leadership

Brand Stewardship (Positioning, Guidelines, Brand Council)

Maintain and lead updates to DishLATINO Brand Guidelines

Act as a key member of DishLATINO Brand Council

Liaise and coordinate with offline media agency

Media Integrations

Non-working Budget management (Brand/Acquisition)

Support with annual agency SOW and fee management

Product - Lead Latino specific asks to product teams to get those prioritized in the Product roadmap

Lead creative development and execution for all digital tactics (site, paid, digital) to help drive activations

Support management of the digital team (e-commerce & product) as it relates to reporting and process optimization (in conjunction with Head of Latino Brand)

Site Management - Acquisition & Existing Customers (Creative refresh/new creative, offer changes, programming takedowns, audits & updates to Nuevos Clientes pages)

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (marketing or related business discipline strongly preferred)

MBA considered a plus

Minimum 3 years of experience in Brand Management or a marketing-related field, including an understanding of the creative development process, the importance of creativity in marketing communications, and demanding best-in-class creative work from agency partners

At least 3 years working in Latino-segment-focused marketing, or have a deep, authentic understanding of the culture and a passion/interest in the Latino-segment-focused marketing space

Skills and Qualifications:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) and have an understanding there are different types of Hispanic consumers in the U.S.

Strong detail orientation, organizational skills, and project management experience

Ability to write strong creative briefs, provide clear strategic direction, and motivate teams and agency partners

Proven communication and presentation skills: advanced ability to present recommendations and to adjust presentations accordingly based on feedback

Decisive & effective problem-solving ability; sound analytical skills, both qualitative & quantitative

Team player with strong interpersonal skills who encourages team cooperation, supports network-building capabilities, promotes enthusiasm, fosters strategic thinking, and partners successfully with cross-functional teams

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
