Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of the company’s marquee event program across Global regions. You will oversee the development of a centralized framework with local delivery across key workstreams including digital strategy, demand generation, sales strategy, lead generation, content strategy, creative and technology. Your responsibilities will include partnering with regional stakeholders to define program goals, managing global budgets and timelines, and orchestrating the efforts of internal teams and external agencies to deliver exceptional, large-scale, highly technical educational events targeting IT decision-makers and builders worldwide.As the Head of Global Summits, you will serve as the strategic lead, driving innovation and best practices to elevate the event experience consistently across regions. You will collaborate closely with regional teams and stakeholders, providing guidance and ensuring alignment with the global strategic business vision. Your exceptional communication skills will be critical in managing leadership reviews, post-event debriefs, program reviews, fostering cross-functional collaboration and creating mechanisms to drive improvements across AWS Marketing.The ideal candidate has 12+ years of proven experience in leading global event programs, preferably in the technology industry. This highly motivated and organized professional must possess exceptional project management skills, with a track record of managing complex, multi-regional projects concurrently. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and experience in managing global stakeholders and vendor partnerships are essential. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $232,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
