If you get excited about both building and documenting intricate technical solutions, this might be your dream job.About the RoleAs a Content Engineer at LiveKit, you'll be the bridge between our cutting-edge technology and the developers who use it. You'll combine your engineering expertise with a talent for clear, concise communication to create content that empowers developers and drives the adoption of our platform.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct hands-on research and collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical information

Create, maintain, and organize documentation for LiveKit Cloud and OSS

Write and edit technical content including documentation, tutorials, and blog posts

Develop and maintain code sample fragments and sample applications as needed

Work closely with engineering, product, developer relations, and support teams to ensure content quality, discoverability, and accuracy

Manage documentation projects independently, from conception to delivery

QualificationsBA/BS degree in computer science, technical writing, physics, mathematics, or chemistry, or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or developer outreach for a developer audience

Proven ability to independently define and drive technical documentation projects

Experience with markdown content formatting

Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills

Ability to interpret example code and explain it to users

Experience collaborating effectively across multiple teams and managing competing deadlines

Proficiency with source control systems for managing and publishing content

Experience supporting multiple programming languages and development platforms

Bonus PointsFamiliarity with WebRTC

Experience working with a community of developers

Contributions to open-source software

Experience building with LiveKit
