Position SummarySeeking talented, experienced costume designer.No professional experience required. Student costume designer enrolled in undergraduate- or graduate-level training will be enthusiastically considered. Must have a working understanding of theatrical costume design; excellent creativity and organizational skills; a strong artistic background; ability to meet deadlines, take feedback, and be flexible; and an interest in educational theatre.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
(include, but are not limited to, the following)
Acquire, create, and curate all costumesCollaborate with the director, stage manager, and production staffAttend production meetings as neededDeliver costumes on time as requiredManage and care for costumes throughout rehearsals and performances
Qualifications
(minimum requirements)
Strong understanding of theatrical costume designExcellent creativity and organizational and artistic skillsInterest in educational theatre

All auditions, rehearsals, and performances will be held on PRS campus (6269 El Fuerte Street, Carlsbad, CA 92009)
Time:
Rehearsals are typically held Tuesday thru Friday from 3:15-5:30pmDates:
Auditions:
November 4-8, 2024Rehearsals:
December 3-19, 2024 & January 7-24, 2025Tech Rehearsals:
January 27-30, 2025Dress Rehearsals:
February 3-5, 2025Performances:
February 6-8, 2025
Hourly Rate:
$18/hourTotal Earnings Potential:
