Via is working with Douglas County to provide a transportation service for students in Douglas County. We are looking for driver partners who will transport passengers safely to their destinations.Why drive with Via Student Transit?Give back to the local communityEarn some extra cash!Drive with a schedule in mind. Transport students around 6:30 - 9 AM and 2:30 - 4:30 PM, five days a week (subject to change).$250 new driver partner promotionEligible to earn $26.00/hour plus additional promotionsChoose when you log on to drive! Driver Partners are independent contractors who are self-employed and have the flexibility to choose when they provide service, with no minimum commitmentsTo be eligible to operate on the Via Platform in Douglas County, you must:Have a valid driver s licenseAre 25 years of age or olderComplete a drug screeningHave more than 5 years of unrestricted, US driving historyHave at least 5 five years of caregiving experience (experiences that meet the definition of caregiving: parents, professional caregivers, provided care for family members or friends)Have personal auto insurance policyDrive a vehicle no more than 10 years oldPass fingerprint-based criminal background check and motor vehicle record check (SSN needed)
The operating hours for Via s Student Transit is not final and subject to change.New driver partner promotion: To be eligible, you must complete at least 10 driving sessions on the Via platform within 60 days of completing your driver onboarding session. This promotion may be revoked or altered at any time at Via's sole discretion, and these terms are subject to change at Via's sole discretion.
