We are scaling quickly and looking for passionate people to protect the next million families!About the RoleThis is direct response marketing. We advertise to drive user acquisition, plain and simple. Every dollar we spend has an objective that is tested and measured. Success is aligning media strategy with overall marketing strategy, showing ROI on a limited attribution model, and scaling volume across products. Our test-and-learn methodology requires mindful planning, set up, execution and analysis. This position is for candidates who desire to contribute straight to the Ethos bottom line and be recognized for it.Duties and Responsibilities :Work on our paid acquisition channels. You'll work closely with our product, partnerships, and engineering teams and be responsible for our core business metrics.Ideate, conceptualize, plan, prioritize, and execute on growth experiments. If rolling up your sleeves to execute gives you pause, this is not the right role for you.Take ownership of online media campaignsOptimize at the placement/creative level to directly impact our KPI'sResponsible for P&L of each campaignInvolved in all aspects of campaign set up, creative management, and campaign optimization including internal communication of results, to quarterly performance reviewsUse your intelligence, experience, creativity, and organizational skills to solve problems with minimum input from othersManage third-party ad platforms and ad networks alongside internal toolsFocus on long and short term objectives and be ready to prioritize when ad-hoc opportunities arisesFacilitate internal project requests and work with internal teams across the organizationQualifications and Skills :Bachelor degree in an analytical field (math, econ, engineering, etc.).2+ years experience in user acquisition marketingAny similar combination of education and experienceThorough working knowledge of direct response online advertisingExcellent analysis skills, ability to research and analyze various different types and large amounts of dataEffective oral and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsComputer skills: thorough working knowledge of intermediate to advanced MS ExcelAble to work under pressure of multiple projects and deadlinesAbility to effectively prioritize workload and manage changes in directionAbility to interpret and apply required policies and proceduresTeam player mentalityPossess a strong passion for marketingPrior success working in B2C marketing, especially consumer financial productsExperience working with popular ad networks and ad platformsExperience with 1st party audience planning, creation, and testingExperience in any of the following types of advertising: video and television, radio and/or podcasts, out-of-home, direct mailPreference to be local to the San Francisco Bay AreaThe US national base salary range for this full-time position is $88,000 - $147,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
