Overview Serves as the primary contact for larger institutional clients, prospects, and consultants. Provides ongoing updates about the investment philosophy, process, and performance of specific products in specific asset classes. Creates models/thesis/insights to help shape strategy and portfolio construction. Participates in investment strategy meetings with portfolio managers. May assist in and/or is responsible for developing new products. Generates and implements investment ideas and solutions for specific strategies, with the goal of contributing to investment results.

Influences others by demonstrating strong investment ability and communicating and engaging with colleagues. Provides guidance in writing investment commentary and updating current RFP responses, questionnaires, and marketing materials. No direct reports. Experienced Investment Strategist. Works independently with very limited direction from the Head of Investment Strategy. Contributes to team/firm profitability by assuring retention and expansion of existing client relationships by contributing to superior investment performance and client services.In some regions, may serve as the primary interface for jurisdictional/regulatory matters and may have entity governance responsibilities. Demonstrates a degree of technical acumen specifically around general investment concepts such as asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk budgeting, asset-liability management, derivatives usage and implementation, trading, and risk management.Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 3-5 years of investment experience preferred or over 2 years of investment experience preferred for MBAs or CFAs. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business. As a global firm, bilingual capabilities are helpful as is an understanding of local/cultural nuances important for client trust.Compensation BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $90,500 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
