Sully’s is an emerging sandwich franchise with a mission of “Serving Goodness” in every aspect of our operations. We believe deeply in creating a supportive and positive community of team members and patrons.

The Marketing Manager helps create and implement a PR and social media strategy that stands out in the crowd and conveys and highlights all the things that make the Sully’s unique and compelling. Delicious food, fun atmosphere, inclusive culture, and strong community ties - just to name a few… We want to communicate not only how Sully’s is striving to “be a better franchise” but also why.

On the ground, this role plays an integral role in interacting with customers, vendors, and staff, and has a love and passion for capturing and sharing the story of the Sully’s community. Digitally, this role stays abreast of changes in the media landscape, relevant influencers and trends and collaborates with our franchise location operators to drive social engagement and increase brand awareness, ultimately ensuring results that build sales overnight and the Sully’s brand over time. The ideal candidate is passionate about interacting with people, eating and sharing food, has excellent communication and writing skills, stays nimble and adaptable, and can jump on a viral trend or new platform and make it on-brand. They are thorough, organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in the fast-paced online environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Works with Owners and Leadership team to develop community events, content calendar and promotions

Works with Operators to help with local marketing campaigns

Works with with Corporate to create franchise marketing campaigns

Stays in tune with media landscape and trends and reports on findings

Acts as a liaison between the Sully’s Franchising team and individual store operators

Responsible for collaborating on and reviewing all Marketing plans, campaigns, and initiatives

Works to ensure all media and communications with the public is consistent in it’s message and aesthetic, relevant and on brand

Quickly learns about and builds relationships with our teams and vendors in order to correctly and effectively share their stories

Maintains an up to date database of vendors, media outlets, influencers and brand placements

Regularly sends press releases and promotions to media outlets and local calendars

Adds to and maintains an organized content album of photos, videos and ideas for future use

Creates a unique and engaging social media calendar that captures exciting offerings and shares glimpses of Sully’s amazing food and community

Remains in constant contact with all location operators in order to build effective promotion plans and to collect materials for the most relevant items for weeks ahead

Creates and posts high-performing social content that consistently hits targets of engagement and quality

Writes engaging supporting copy to accompany posts that is easy to personally connect with while remaining on-brand

Builds social media reach and engagement across key media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tik Tok and

MEDIA

Fields incoming media and collaboration requests

Oversees branded merchandise program

Effectively portrays Sully’s fun, tongue-in-cheek, and happy culture and mission through all media posts and communications

Acts as a photo and video editor and producer for social platforms

Makes strategic decisions for future content ideation and execution based on extensive knowledge and understanding of what resonates with our social audience

Plans and executes community group and customer outreach efforts, including tours of the business from visitors

Collaborates with Franchise Team and locations operators to formulate responses to all customer feedback

Collaborates with Franchise Team on consumer and franchise website content and SEO

Assists leadership in creating presentations, speeches and other important messages

Plans and executes promotions and marketing campaigns such as mailings, partnerships, outbound marketing, coupons and sales, etc

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must possess existing passion for sandwiches and the people who make them

Understands and can communicate Sully’s mission, vision, unique voice and values to the public and staff in a concise, easy-to-digest fashion

Collaborates with existing partnerships and like-minded brands

Must possess an ability to build strong interpersonal relationships through effective verbal and written communication

Take initiative to help any area of the business if possible

Restaurant experience (Preferred)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

3-5 years of relevant marketing experience (managing social media platforms or communities for brands, etc.) with proven ability to articulate a brand while successfully working within strong brand guidelines. Knows the ins and outs of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Tik Tok. Ability to stay nimble and adaptable, with the ability to jump on a trend or an exciting new item.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Proven experience developing and interpreting media metrics. Has experience using social media management tools

Possess a deep understanding of marketing strategy and alignment with business priorities; understands how to leverage media and marketing efforts to create measurable results

Thrives in a dynamic environment - this role thrives on innovating, producing new content, and seeking out random acts of Sandwich to share with the world.

Has an existing familiarity with relevant publishers, bloggers and influencers both locally and beyond

Must have outstanding networking skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

Must have a good working knowledge of Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs) and Microsoft Excel.

Must conduct oneself in an honest, professional and respectful manner at all times.

Must possess a servant's heart, interact with people well, and possess a desire for excellent customer service.

Able to take direction, work independently, and as a member of a team, and able to create working relationships.

Must be highly motivated, hard working, and possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude.

Must have problem solving skills, be flexible, creative, and able to adapt to change when required.

Must have reliable transportation and report for work in a timely manner.
