The ideal candidate should possess experience in industrial automated equipment, gear reduction, servo, and VFD drives, among others. This role requires the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Mechanical Designer Responsibilities:Collaborate with customers to determine machinery requirements and automate processesTravel to customer facilities to gain insights into manufacturing processes and conceptsDesign and oversee complete machine assemblies while adhering to company design standardsConduct design presentations with internal and customer teams to ensure all requirements are metMonitor the progress of multiple equipment designs concurrently, ensuring consistencyDevelop documentation for the machine build processMechanical Designer Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of relevant experienceExperience with Autodesk Inventor or similar softwareDemonstrated high mechanical aptitudeProficiency in complex problem-solvingDesirable skills include AutoCAD, Macros, Visual Basic, and ExcelExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperience with machining and assembly processes
