About Us:U.S. Light Energy is searching for an organized and proactive Marketing Coordinator to join our New York team working out of our office in Latham, NY. U.S. Light Energy is a growing and dynamic company in the solar renewable energy industry, focused on Community Solar in the Northeastern United States. We believe that everyone should have access to clean, renewable energy, and the most equitable way to achieve that is through human-scaled Community Solar projects that meet a community's energy and climate goals at the local level. We have more than 550MWs of New York Community Solar projects in development and are currently building out these projects and actively adding additional generation capacity.Job Description:

The ideal candidate will assist in all areas of marketing lead generation and marketing support. They will be comfortable in maintaining various marketing campaigns and have a creative skillset which enables them to brainstorm new initiatives. The duties of the position range from Social Media creation and Website updates, customer correspondence, salesforce report generation, event planning etc,. This role requires a detail-oriented and resourceful individual with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.Essential functions:Marketing Assets Development : Moderate to high (demonstrated) competence with the Adobe Creative suite resulting in the ability to modify, update and create new digital and print collateral/marketing materials as needed.Digital Marketing : Proven experience and competency with creating social media content (Facebook, Instagram and Linked In) as well as familiarity with WordPress software to make minor website updatesEvent Planning and support : Assist in scheduling and organizing marketing events/sponsorship activities. Take photos where and when appropriate. Reports and analytics : Assist with running Marketing reports using Salesforce in addition to Social media, SEO, and website analytics. Administrative Duties:

Help manage marketing appointments and meetings. Maintain and organize marketing files and assets files. Assist with placing sales and marketing material orders.

Required education and experience:2-3 years proven experience as Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator or in a similar marketing communications role.Comfortable interacting on a professional level at events within and out side of the organization.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Professional communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in office and graphics software (e.g., MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, , as well as video conferencing software such as MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet).Dependable, reliable, and trustworthyBachelor's degree in Business Administration/Marketing or related field preferred.Work environment:5-Day Work Week with Flexible OptionsAt U.S. Light Energy, we understand the importance of a balanced work life, and we strive to provide a supportive and dynamic work environment for our team.
