We are M. Hopple & Co. Fine Stationery and Creative Design and our mission is to bring paper to life. We are a small team of paper engineers who are passionate about paper. We are creative collaborators who and eat, sleep and breath design.

We are seeking a graphic designer to help with our in-house design and printing. It is important that an applicant have a passion for paper and fine stationery, be a motivated, team player and have excellent communication skills. Applicant must also possess a strong eye for design, and attention to detail and must have basic knowledge of typesetting and layout.Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop as well as a background in graphics design.Experience/ basic knowledge typesetting and layout, with a thoughtful understanding of pre-press set-up.Must have a basic knowledge of printing. Daily tasks include printing on multiple types of printers.The perfect candidate would possess the drive to be an effective part of growing the print and stationery business, while building custom business and creating a design strategy that models the aesthetic we create in the store.Enjoys helping customers as well as assessing their invitation needs with ease.Loves seeing the world through the eyes of our clients and believes that feedback and revisions are a crucial part of the design process.Must be an exceptional speller. Job requires a quick and diligent spell checker and a thorough proof reader.Working with a sense of urgency to get the tasks at hand completed. An innate ability to multi task is a must as well as being able to quickly re-prioritize if necessary.Must have good verbal and written communication skills.The current schedule includes 1-2 Saturdays. There will be at least 1 full weekend off per month (Saturday & Sunday).
