What We're Looking ForFresh Water Systems is looking for a dynamic, results-driven self-starter who enjoys finding creative ways to engage and retain customers. Fresh Water Systems is an Ecommerce marketplace brand selling hundreds of brands in the water filtration industry to homeowners and business owners around the United States + beyond. Reporting to the Marketing Lead, the Retention Marketing Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for our retention marketing/marketing automation platform and be responsible for KPIs related to email marketing, SMS marketing, and other retention tools.What You'll DoCollaborate with the Marketing Lead on email and SMS strategy that attracts new customers/subscribers, retains them, and encourages them to become repeat buyers.Plan and execute on email & SMS campaigns to increase engagement from customers while driving up revenue and customer lifetime value.Create email and SMS content that educates customers and connects them with company resources and products that will help them.Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics for the tools hosted in our retention platform.Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the retention marketing platform at Fresh Water Systems.How You'll Do itYou'll be sitting in on meetings with our team to help strategize and identify opportunities for untapped audiences within and without our current customer base.Identify and engage new audience segments and design content that resonates with their unique needs and interests.Regularly employ A/B testing and other strategies to optimize automations and opt-in strategies.Create and schedule email and SMS campaigns optimized for user engagement, education, and conversion.Master the email + SMS marketing platform and create a library of documentation for company posterity to interpret and use as our business grows.Own and report on KPIs related to channels & customer retention to company leadership.Required Experience and SkillsA Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or English is required.1-3 years experience in a business setting, preferably in a marketing context or role.Ideal Candidates Exhibit:Strong copywriting/written communication skills.Understanding of audience segmentation and the difference between B2B and D2C markets.Integrity and a Self-Starter Attitude: You feel a strong sense of ownership over the work you do and strive for excellence and profitability at every turn. You don't feel comfortable in limbo, and in times of idleness you often find yourself creating new goals or projects to stay busy.A knack for storytelling: Let's be honest, water filters can be a little dry. You understand how to speak to customers in a human way and spin a story out of even the dryest of topics.
