The marketing strategy team generates awareness and conversion for the Network & Television Studio properties across various platforms through paid and earned media campaigns. We accomplish this through uncompromising drive, methodical attention to detail, and the curiosity and courage to push beyond the ordinary. Building upon the legacy of the brands and networks we bring to our consumers; our marketing reflects the passion and groundbreaking nature seen in our stories. This temporary position for coverage requires an experienced Director of Marketing Strategy, who must be located in Los Angeles to work at our Burbank campus. The ideal candidate will be passionate about broadcast television, streaming, movies, and is a pop-culture enthusiast. They will have a deep understanding of both broadcast and the streaming industry, be a strategic and creative marketer with a background in Entertainment. We are looking for a team player with a highly collaborative working style. This role is equal parts strategic, creative and execution oriented.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of assigned series by being the expert on all aspects of the production and marketing efforts and communicate the necessary information to the cross-functional teams to enable successful show launches and relaunchesPartner with internal and external platforms to ensure cohesive marketing campaigns are executed to deliver results for the studioDevelop strong relationships across a wide variety of departments to drive success for each campaignInspire and brainstorm fresh ideas for content marketing initiatives across our library titles in order to drive consumption across various platformsAlign with studio series team and producers to ensure clear and constant communication is maintained at every step of the campaign lifecycle from inception to executionWork on pro-social initiatives that reflect our core Brand beliefsCollaborate with a team of smart, passionate marketersStay on top of industry trends, events, new technology, and unique opportunitiesQualifications:

You have 10+ years of experience in the entertainment industry executing content marketing campaigns for a studio, broadcast network or streamerYou are an expert across all mediums including TV, digital, OOH, and socialYou have demonstrated that you are incredibly strategic, and have a strong understanding how to reach television audiences across broadcast and streamingYou are a team player and problem solver who can operate in a fast-paced, ever-changing, team-oriented settingYou are able to communicate cross-functionally with all levels and have exceptional verbal and written communication skillsYou have the ability to project manage, problem solve and have killer presentation skillsYou are able to quickly provide your point of view with rationales in both verbal and written formYou are a quick learner who has knowledge and experience with content marketing across both broadcast and streamingRequired Education:

BS or equivalent
