UX Researcher

RxBenefits is looking for a researcher who is passionate about building a better understanding of customer experience. The role is responsible for working cross-functionally across experience strategy, UX/UI design, product and other stakeholders within the organization to identify gaps in knowledge of our current experience and help to test the proposed products that help drive the future experience. As our company grows and embraces cutting-edge technologies, we need someone who desires to make the complex simple and useful for internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will be an advocate for the customer and will take ownership in providing our team with meaningful insights to help drive better outcomes.

Primary ResponsibilitiesBuilds and execute the current understanding of the customer’s journey, leveraging mixed methods research approachBuild and execute exploratory research plans to identify unmet needs, utilizing interviews, observations and other methodologiesAs the subject matter expert, designs and helps to facilitate user feedback sessions, working closely with strategists, UX designers and product managersLead research activities like user interviews, quantitative surveys, co-design sessions, concept evaluation and usability testingProvides input on how best to measure the success of products and how they might improve the end-to-end experiencePresents research insights in a clear, concise and meaningful way to inspire and activate teams and stakeholdersAdvocate for customer needs throughout the product development processManages and enhances the user testing program and platform(s) for accessing quick user feedbackArticulates the value of human-centered design research and insights to the organization, advocating for the role of research across the companyRequirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, design strategy, or equivalent related work experience5-8 years of demonstrated user research experienceExperience defining customer experience opportunities across lines of business and with multiple stakeholdersExperience presenting findings to key stakeholders and influencing them to take actionExperience prioritizing research activities to provide directional, practical insights in quick turnaroundSolid understanding of human-centered design principles and methodologiesPreferred Experience

Healthcare knowledge and experienceHuman-centered design or research certificationsProficient in data analysis and visualization tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau
