Internal Communications Manager

Position Type:

Part-time (20 hours), Exempt

Qualifications & Experience Required:

The type of experience required to effectively perform the essential functions and responsibilities of this position are:Experience creating and deploying internal content through a variety of communications channels for a geographically dispersed population including email newsletter platforms, intranet, digital signage, and employee communications apps.Excellent editing and proofreading skills.Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools required, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.Highly organized and structured with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.A service mindset when interacting with internal customers and the ability to tailor communications to audience needs.High degree of professionalism, self-motivation, and dependability.Strong attention to detail and conceptual thinking.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult with other areas of the business providing recommendations on subject matter expertise. Experience building effective working relationships remotely is a plus.Ability to work independently and lead projects or tasks in a team environment.Analytical Skills: Analyzes data to optimize communication strategies.Cultural Awareness: Understands diverse perspectives to tailor communications sensitively.Problem-Solving: Quickly resolves issues and aligns internal interests.Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field required.Minimum of five (5) years of experience coordinating communications for a corporation or similar institution required.Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferredEssential Functions | Accountabilities | Performance Measures

Write, edit, design & publish corporate communications (news, events, people announcements, initiative communication, through a variety of medium and platforms.Proofing, advising on functional communication contentManage company feedback systemsSupport CEO’s All Hands and executive communicationsSolicit content from sites/departmentsServe as a clearinghouse for internal announcements, site, and department newsSupport business leaders with initiative-specific communication plans as neededOwn and update the internal communication strategy annuallyManage company-wide communication channels (SharePoint, CCTV, Communications Email, All Hands, etc.)Maintain close working relationships with key internal stakeholders (ELT, HR)
