This is a Full-Time position. Your time will be split between eyelash application and managerial duties. Although you will always be managing, we understand that you will also be applying lashes 60-70% of the time. Leading the staff will be 100% commitment.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide eyelash extensions personally, in addition to leading staff and managing the studioLeading by example by modeling all activities through self-involvementMaintaining the morale of lash artists through positivity, motivation, and supportEnsure Deka Lash branding and culture through consistency and continuity in all actionsClient-focused Responsibilities (as a Lash Artist)

Provide astonishing lashesEducate clients on how to properly care for their lashesUpsell memberships, services, and productsEngage clients with world-class service, including check-in/outClient-focused Responsibilities (as a Studio Manager)

Encourage the highest level of customer service staff-wideRespond professionally and in a timely manner to client experiences (both positive and negative) in person, on the phone, or via social mediaStaff-focused Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor the hiring and training of Deka Lash Studio Lash ArtistsPhone screen and pre-interview; make interview/hiring recommendationsManage, monitor, and mentor Deka Lash studio Lash Artists for ongoing success and future growth

Schedule Monthly pack meetings to discuss goals, recognize staff, and review Monthly Refresher Sheets and PromotionsSchedule timely meetings with each lash artistCreate Action Plans

Create and manage staff schedules, including handling same-day staff call-outsResponsible for 90-day and annual Lash Artist performance evaluationsManage disciplinary actions involving Deka Lash studio staff, should they ariseFacilitate 1:1 development meetings with the lash artistsFacilitate and develop monthly agenda-based team meetingsStudio-focused Responsibilities

Exceed industry sanitation standardsComply with and enforce Deka Lash Corporate policies, business practices, systems, and processesSupervise and reinforce studio-level processes and systemsMonitor and respond to the studio email accountMonitor and respond to studio and staff reviewsCoordinate and lead local sales efforts (social media marketing, outreach, studio events)Ensure all studio systems are followed such as proper opening/closing, delinquent account procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, and inventory managementEnsure the facility is clean, stocked, properly maintained, and operationally soundRequired Qualifications :

Currently licensed Esthetician or CosmetologistPositive, proactive, and a team playerPossess excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, successful environment for staff and clientsHave a strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanorAbility to multi-task and manage client and staff concerns in a timely and appropriate mannerAbility to foster a TEAM environmentGoal drivenMust be available to work during extended studio hours (including nights and weekends) There is flexibility for this.Must be accessible when unforeseen issues arise outside of the working schedulePrevious management experience in the beauty industry is strongly recommended but not requiredJob Benefits :

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
