Position Summary

The University of New Mexico-Valencia campus is accepting applications for Marketing Assistant. This individual will provide marketing and administrative support within the Marketing department to create and market campus programs on and off campus. This position will assist with the development of written content,creating posts and videos, and engaging with audiences on social media. The Marketing Assistant provides accounting and administrative support to the department as necessary; schedules meetings/appointments, creates and maintains files, and answers phones.

Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia County, theUniversity of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of theUniversity of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the regionand is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis on teachingexcellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs, career andtechnical programs, Adult Basic Education, and Dual Credit High School/Collegecourses to Valencia and Socorro Counties. The faculty and staff serve a studentbody of over 2,000 students per semester.

High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
