One of our digital commerce agency clients is looking for a VP of Marketing Operations to join their ever growing team for an all-new position reporting directly to the agency's COO and helping oversee all of the agency's client facing marketing operations.

This VP of Marketing Operations should be comfortable and capable of leading and overseeing a 50-60 person agency team including paid media, creative, social media, influencer marketing, social commerce, email/SMS marketing and SEO.

This VP of Marketing Operations will be responsible for owning and driving the agency's channel strategy, go-to-market plan, and execution of paid media roadmaps; ultimately responsible for driving executional excellence and omni-channel connectivity through service teams, continuously pushing for innovation across the agency's individual service lines.

Ideal VP of Marketing Operations candidates will have:- At least 8-10+ years experience managing teams of 20+ paid media practitioners, preferably at a growing agency- Experience navigating, servicing, and growing enterprise-level paid media engagements- A dynamic performance-marketing mindset for B2C, a clear POV on what is needed to drive performance success and curiosity for what's ahead in the paid media industry for B2C, particularly DTC, display, retail media, social commerce, and marketplaces (i.e. Walmart, Amazon, eBay, etc.)- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to work across teams with different types of individuals/personalities; primarily in a remote environment- Ability to understand the details of client goals and translate into broader strategic campaigns for leadership and the entire agency- Capable and ready to pivot based on priority shifts or industry changes with the ability to anticipate broader industry/economic change- Clear communicator with strategic insights and the ability to create buy-in across the organization- A clear, insightful vision for the future direction of the marketplace, with a track record of thought leadership in the paid media field- Solid strategic skills and impressive understanding of the business from both market and P&L perspectives- Exceptional ability to motivate and retain a world-class team- Willingness to travel domestically as needed (post-COVID) - you're open to new places, new faces, and new ideas- Experience in managing a multi team P&L programming and forecasting revenue targets and budgets to hit profit goals- Strong at identifying core issues and inefficiencies of service delivery teams and creating strong resolution paths that mitigate client churn

Nice to have:- Experience with M&A + integration would be valuable
