As our Senior Design and Creative Lead , you will be at the forefront of our creative strategy, overseeing all design projects and ensuring they align with our brand vision and business objectives. What does the Job Entail?

Strategic Vision and Leadership:
  • Develop and articulate a clear design vision that aligns with the company's overall strategy and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all digital platforms
  • Lead the organization in translating this vision into innovative and effective design solutions.

Design Creation, Oversight, and Quality Control:
  • Oversee all design projects, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and are delivered on time.
  • Create and develop design prototypes using Figma and other Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Review and approve designs, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and project requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments, such as software development, fulfillment, and sales, to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
  • Communicate design concepts and strategies to stakeholders and incorporate their feedback.

Brand Management:
  • Maintain and evolve the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all visual communications.
  • Develop and update brand guidelines as needed.

Innovation and Trends:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep the design team at the cutting edge.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the design team.

Project Management:
  • Manage the design process from concept to completion, including setting project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Allocate resources effectively and ensure the team meets project deadlines.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and delivering design solutions that exceed their expectations.
  • Present and pitch design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

Process Improvement:
  • Continuously evaluate and improve design processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement tools and technologies that enhance the design team's capabilities and productivity.

Team Management and Development:
  • Manage and mentor designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members.

Requirements:
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in the design field, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing design teams and delivering high-quality design projects.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating creativity, innovation, and excellence in design execution.
  • Evidence of successful projects that align with business objectives and brand guidelines.

Design Software and Principes Proficiency:
  • Expert knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, and other relevant tools.
  • Familiarity with 3D design software and motion graphics tools can be beneficial.
  • Deep understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Ability to apply these principles across various media, including digital, print, and product design.
  • A passion for design and a continuous drive for innovation and excellence.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop unique design solutions.

Leadership and Program Management:
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and manage a team of designers.
  • Experience in fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • High level of attention to detail, ensuring all design outputs are of the highest quality.

Communication and Collaboration:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and engineering.
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Compensation:

$115,000 to $130,000
