Description

Amazon Devices — the team behind the best-selling Amazon Echo, Kindle E-Reader, Fire Tablet, Fire TV, and Home Security product lines — is seeking a Marketing Program Manager. From Day 1, the successful candidate will work with stakeholders across the Amazon Devices business to support a diverse range of marketing programs in support of new product launches and sales activities.

The candidate will have exceptional analytical and project management skills, strong business judgment, and the ability to execute both strategically and tactically as required.

The Marketing Program Manager will support a wide range of onsite program execution for Amazon Devices. This role will be responsible for delivering best-in-class merchandising programs and optimization of customer experience, while finding and driving efficiencies and process improvements.

Key job responsibilities

• Intake, project scope, project manage, and deliver milestones on time for various product launch and lifecycle marketing projects as part of their programmatic responsibilities throughout the year

• Own stakeholder communications, status updates, and operational performance reporting.

• Contribute and own weekly leadership updates as well as ongoing continuous process improvement.

• Responsible for driving effective change management.

• During execution, proactively identify roadblocks/risks to the project, drive the resolution of problems, and either manage their resolution or ensure a clear hand-off to the right owner.

•Track and record operational metrics such as project progress and number of campaigns built to help the team deliver on our commitments and identify opportunities for automation.

•Contribute their first-hand experiences during retrospectives and deep dives focused on marketing build processes.

•Contribute to strengthening our standard operating procedures as they develop expertise in different marketing tasks.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of program or project management experience

3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

3+ years of driving process improvements experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
